Freedom Giveaway Hop!


I am thrilled to be participating in the Freedom Giveaway Hop this fourth of July weekend as it is one of my favorite times of the year and this year's celebration will be even sweeter as I am currently in the process of enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. As many of you know I have not been posting on a daily basis as I have in the past and now you know part of the reason why! 

The prize I have up for grabs is: 
Two books from The Book Depository (or Amazon if you live in the U.S.) worth up to $10 each. There will be one winner.

For this giveaway I will keep it simple again, just leave a comment with your name and email and just to make things more interesting I want you to answer this question:
"What is your favorite summertime food?"

    Favorite food - I was tempted to say a Screwdriver while lying next to the pool but I am not certain that qualifies as a food group so lets go with hamburgers cooked on the barbecue.

    Thanks for the giveaway! My favorite summertime food is watermelon. I was pregnant in Texas during the summer with my youngest son. My oldest was 3 at the time. All I wanted was watermelon. It was a contest to see who would eat the most watermelon - my three year old or me. How do you explain to someone that young that he can't have any watermelon because Mom had a craving and didn't save any for him. I thought my youngest was going to be born with green stripes because I ate so much watermelon.
