Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead

From GoodreadsMurder. Love. Jealousy. And the ultimate sacrifice. Now, with Rose on trial for her life and Lissa first in line for the Royal Throne, nothing will ever be the same between them.
If you know me you know I am a huge Vampire Academy fan. I pre ordered this book as soon I could and when it arrived I set everything aside and stayed up to read it. Maybe I had high hopes as the other books were amazing or I was hungry and cranky but I have to say I was a bit disappointed with this book. It's kind of hard to write a good review without spoilers, heck it was hard for almost all of these books. Richelle really is great at throwing curve balls at her readers (I couldn't even let my sister read the back of some of the books, haha!). I will try my hardest not to reveal too much.
The first thing I will say is that I found some of the book to be predictable, I was hoping I would be wrong, but I wasn't. Some of the characters did get the "happily ever after" I predicted. I'm not bummed about it really, they deserve it and it sets up for the spin-off series (which I am now eagerly awaiting!).
This book resolves a lot of story lines including:
Who killed the Queen?
Who does Rose choose?
Who will be the next King/Queen?
I wasn't exactly on any "team" before reading this book, Dimitri and Adrian were both great guys with Rose's best interest at heart. I was satisfied with her choice, but I felt terrible for the other guy. I found some of the romance to be on the "cheesy" side, but maybe it's just me? Let me know what you guys think! I was able to predict who killed the Queen, but it wasn't something I was completely sure about until almost the end of the book. There are some characters who's fate I am still curious about, again setting up for the spin-off series which I hope will explain it all. All in all it was a good read, but I didn't feel sucked in as I did with the other books in the series.

I give this book 3.5 owls!

well, yes there are some cheezy lines but compared to other books, this series isnt about romance, that was just a bonus to the readers but the plot's great thats why i loved this series soo much.

the characters who's unresolved issues i believe RMead will make sure they're included in bloodlines.
