Teaser Tuesday hosted by Should Be Reading

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

"So, the man and the beautiful young woman, with her red hair bound back on her head, began to work at sword fighting. Although it was happy, playful training, in their strokes and thrusts, in their blocks and parries, Alina realized that this was far more than play."
~Page 255, Fell by David Clement-Davies

  1. Ah what a great teaser. I want to know more and well, what do they do with the swords next ;)?

    A grand teaser!!

Stop by and check out my teaser and if you have time hit my New All Hallows Eve Tradition Post and let me know what you think would be a great scary book to give away for Halloween.

    Mad Scientist

  2. Oh, great teaser!

One of my sisters is reading this and won't put it down.

You can find my teaser here

  3. I am reading "The Boleyn Inheritance" by Philippa Gregory.

    Page 253 says:
"He sent the Duke of Norfolk against me to order my obedience. The good duke, who had known me from childhood and served my mother loyally, with love, said to my face that if he were my father, he would swing me by me heels and split my head open against the wall."

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment :)
